These adorable 8 story-book shelves are by Spanish Brand – Studio Menut. They are in the shapes of the forest animals. Here is the little story behind these cute bookshelves.
“Once upon a time, there were forest animals whose sole mission was to guard story-books during the day so children could enjoy them before bedtime. Sleep tight, for they guard your story-books”.

Great decor for the children’s bedroom.

I saw this clever idea of creating a wire headboard in one of the home decor blogs. I forgot which one but if you know, please let me know. This unique headboard doubles up as a clipboard for you to display your favourite photos or artwork. What a great way to personalize your sleeping space. It looks great on its own too. I think this is perfect for a teen’s room, don’t you think so?

I was supposed to check out some discount craft supplies but I thought I would log on to Pinterest for a while. So that ‘a while’ became an hour or so. I was hooked because I saw some of the most amazing home decor pinned by other Pinterest user. They are such an inspiration. Below are some of the decors that I heart.

I was blog hopping a while ago to get some inspiration on how to decorate my niece’s and nephews’ bedroom. My sister is planning to give her children’s room a makeover and had asked me for suggestion. Both of them are sharing the bedroom. When I was at Design Is Mine, I saw this simple bedroom decor that is pretty neat.

I love the different shades of blue on the floor. I also love the look of two different beds in the same room. They go pretty well together. The framing of the Dandy magazine on the wall is just the right touch for a kid’s bedroom.

Besides transforming the patio floor, my friend is planning to give her teen’s room a makeover. She asked me if I have any good ideas to share with her regarding the decor for her teen’s room. A while ago, I remember seeing this lovely room at Apartment Therapy. It belonged to a 14-year old girl and she designed the room herself. How brilliant eh? What I like about this room is that it has a simple design but it is so stylish. I think my friend can draw some inspiration from this bedroom.

I heart this wall gallery.

I was blog-hopping last night and came upon this cute little nursery by Sissy & Marley. I just love the elephant theme in this room for little people. In case you don’t know. I have deep fascination with elephants. I adore these gentle giants and so when I came upon this nursery decor, I was giddy with excitement. Let me show you some photos below.

Simple and nice eh? I love the little buntings on the wall. Can you spot the elephant toys on the shelf?

Love the elephant picture all framed up on the wall.

Besides getting a two step stool for my kitchen, I am also thinking of getting some wall stickers for my daughter’s bedroom. Yes, I still haven’t done decorating her bedroom yet. I think some wall stickers or decals would be a nice touch. I found a few lovely ones from Pop And Lolli last night. They are fabric stickers which are very easy to install. Just peel and stick.
