I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to stumble upon Lampshade CRAFT which are eco-friendly lampshades. Available at Otra-Design.com, these beautiful lampshades are made from 100% recycled cardboard. They are so creative and I just love the colours. Each package contains a lampshade which can be assembled in two ways. It is easy to assemble and definitely a good project to do with your children if you like.
I am not a fan of open shelves but I just love this white backsplash.
White brick walls are my favourite!
I just love this kitchen. It is simple and spacious. I think the flooring and the counter top are made of cement.
I just love a room that is flooded with lights or rooms with huge windows. The view is just amazing and there is lots of natural light.

Lately I am kinda obsessed with an all-white home. On my wishlist for my next home, I want the whole house to be painted with just white paint, including the doors. This would definitely make the whole space look larger eh? White walls are a great backdrop for paintings or other knick-knacks. As for the floors, I think white tiles are good and if not, perhaps wood flooring.

Was blog-hopping last night and I stumbled upon this beautiful decor. It looks familiar to me and I am not sure if I have blogged about this before. Anyway, what struck me are the mismatched chairs and the bright orange lamps. I just love the rustic look of the white walls and ceiling. Such a simple and pleasant-looking decor. I am inspired to have my walls, ceiling and floor painted in white.
Spotted these at http://myscandinavianhome.blogspot.it.
Love the white wooden flooring.
Pink cupboards anyone?
Love the exposed brickwork.
After helping a friend to check out the southport nc real estate listings, I hopped over to Bloomingville to take a look at its Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Boy am I smitten by their knick-knacks. I have this obsession with everything that is made from rattan, bamboo and grass. Couldn’t take my eyes off the lovely bamboo baskets, rattan chairs and bamboo lampshades. Oh I so want them for my home. Simple and yet very classy.
I saw this clever idea of creating a wire headboard in one of the home decor blogs. I forgot which one but if you know, please let me know. This unique headboard doubles up as a clipboard for you to display your favourite photos or artwork. What a great way to personalize your sleeping space. It looks great on its own too. I think this is perfect for a teen’s room, don’t you think so?
While blog-hopping last night, I came across several cool ideas at HomeMadeSimple.com on how to keep things organized around the home. I love these creative ideas very much and I thought I would share them with you here. My all-time favourite is using wooden crates as storage. They make great shelving for books, toys, toiletries such as personalized toothbrush, towels and etc. Below are more ideas on how to keep your space clutter-free:-
I just spotted this lovely storage idea from /www.minhafilhavaicasar.com. I love all these painted boxes hanging on the wall as storage. Wooden boxes are painted in different bright colours and hang on the wall to store toys, books and whatever knick-knacks you can think of.
Time for me to start stocking up on wooden crates.
The Hanging Line which features wall-mountable magazine/towel holder, a wall-mountable toilet paper roll holder and specially designed hooks that are made from flexible silicone. Available at Kontextur. I think it is perfect for those who like modern designs. I think there is no need to drill any holes on the wall to hang them. Brilliant idea.
I adore this wooden headboard. It is a DIY project which I have been seeing a lot in the blogsphere.
